In the seminar “Campus to Corporate”, which was organized by CMA and SHRMI, the keynote speaker Col. Aalok Sood, National Head Directive Communication for HRM/DOD, Culture Evolution, Training, Career, and Recruitment having 27 years of disciplined army life, said that through this workshop we endeavor to throw light on the opportunities that are available and what colleges need to do to make students more employable.

The seminar was attended by approximately 250 students from surrounding colleges like Aryans Group of Colleges, University Business School, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Gurukul Vidyapeeth, Indo Global College, IIPM, KC Group, and SUS Tangori.

Sharing the same views COO, SHRM India Achal Khanna, said that “the campus environment is entirely different from the corporate world. Students should remember to do their best because employer is expecting a day one productive resource.

At the MoU signing ceremony CMA President, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that ‘there is a huge demand and supply mismatch in quality manpower in terms of technical skills, communication, articulation and team work. Thus, with such seminars we aim to train college students to make them more employable, as this is one of the key challenges.’

Rashmi Bhargava, Director Academic Alliances SHRMI expressed her views saying that “the need for campus to corporate originates from the dynamic environment that we operate in, though our education system prepares us thoroughly & intellectually, the work challenges require various business skills that are not part of curriculum .

It is to be mentioned that Chandigarh Management Association (CMA), a registered society, is affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA).
