The biggest ever Job Fest of Chandigarh region “17th Aryans Job Fest” is going to be organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh on 25th February at Aryans Campus situated at Vill. Nepra, Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh. More than 100 Big and Small Companies have given their confirmation to participate in the Fest. The list of the companies and other details including job requirement, eligibility, package, posting etc. has already been uploaded on Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in and students can get registered on the website.Giving this information in a Press Conference held today in Chandigarh Press Club, Ms Varinder Kaur and Devinder Kaur, Coordinators, Aryans Group said that thousands of candidates from North India are expected to participate in the Fest. They added that this would be first time in the region when such a large number of companies would be visiting in any campus in a day. In this fest, job opportunities would be available for B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, M.Tech, Diploma etc.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while congratulating the Aryans team for getting confirmation of over 100 Companies, said that in India, the number of unemployed educated youth is the highest. Thus such job fests provide the youth with great job opportunities. He also said that in Punjab itself, huge job opportunities are available but there is always a gap between job seeker and job provider. Thus Aryans always tries to bridge this gap. Dr Kataria added that Aryans Group has organized 16 Job Fests in last 3 years and provided jobs to thousands of unemployed graduates. He further told that candidates need to carry 10 copies of their resumes and passport size photographs with them.It is to be mentioned that Aryans has achieved several milestones in the field of placements last year. He added that last year about 300 companies had visited the job fest and this year more than 500 companies are expected to visit the campus during job fest. The group has seen 100 per cent placement of its students and now the group is trying to get students of other colleges placed with well-known companies.
