Accusing the Roads and Building (R&B) department for ignoring their plights, the residents of Habba Kadal area here have demanded immediate redressal of their grievances.The residents of various Habba Kadal areas including Gadood Bagh, Aga Hamaam, Chinkral Mohalla and others said that the roads in their area have developed potholes thereby resulted in the immense hardships to the commuters.They said that it is unfortunate that the government has failed to take any measures in this regard.‘We cannot hold R&B department responsible but the concerned MLA despite assurances has failed to fulfill our demands,” inhabitants said.Locals alleged that in past the officials failed to check the quality of material used in road repairing thereby soon after the roads in the area were macadamized, the roads develop potholes.They appealed the concerned MLA, Shameema Firdous and the R&B department to look into the matter and redress their genuine of grievances at earliest.
