A women deputation today met the Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga and put forth their demands regarding opening of Anganwadi centres, creche, handloom and handicraft centres in various blocks of district Samba.Responding to their demands, the Minister assured that all out efforts would be made to open these centres in the district to promote self employment and create livelihood options for women folk.He urged upon them to come forward and avail maximum benefit from various welfare schemes and programmes launched by the state and centre government.
