Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari Saturday visited various areas of Amira Kadal constituency to inspect progress on various ongoing developmental works.Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, DIG Central Kashmir, DC Srinagar, Chief Engineer ERA, and other officers accompanied the Minister during the visit.While reviewing the ongoing construction of drainage system at Rawalpora, the Minister directed the concerned executing agencies to pace up the work for its timely completion, so that local habitations are benefitted. On the occasion, many public deputations also met the Minister and apprised him of issues being confronted by them. Bukhari gave a patient hearing to deputations and directed the concerned to fulfill all the genuine demands of locals, particularly related to providing better civic facilities.He said that the Coalition Government led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is keen to ensure better services to the people by way of upgradation of development infrastructure.
