Indo Global colleges celebrated national Science Day under the theme of the year 2017 Science and Technology for specially abled persons. Chief Guest at the moment was Dr. K S Bath, Principal Scientific Officer, PSCST, Chandigarh & Expert Speaker was Prof. I S Dua. National Science Day is an important event in the country marking the birth day of a great Indian scientist and Noble Prize winner Sir C.V. Raman. The objective of the event was to create awareness about the benefits of science to mankind and also to help develop rational thinking and science temper in our young generation.
The chief guest Dr. K S Bath, and key note speaker Prof. I S Dua gave information about the importance of science and environment education. They praised the students for presenting a very scintillating programme and advised them to plant trees, protect birds and other forms of wildlife like butterflies.The activities included debates, quizzes, exhibitions, lectures, etc. were also organised for creating awareness among the students. The program also brought in the forefront the scientific achievements of the country. While explaining the importance of science in our day to day life Sukhdev Singla Chairman of Indo Global remembered immense contributions of Indian Sages and Scientists in the field of Science.
