Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today said that Government is undertaking measures to link artisans of the state involved in traditional and cultural crafts with Industry and Commerce Department, within a year to provide their products proper visibility, brand value besides streamlining their work and trade culture.The Minister said this at the launch of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Ladakh Zonal Council at an event here today.During the event, the Managing Director of Himalayan Renewable Energy & Construction Firm (HRECF) Nawang Thinlas was elected as Chairman for CII Ladakh Zonal Council.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that CII Ladakh will help increase the pace of Industrial growth in the region besides proactively working with stakeholders to address their issues. He stressed for channelizing the energy of youth in a proper manner so as to strengthen the industrial sector of the state.The Minister also shared deep insights on the efforts being undertaken by the Government to ensure a smooth working environment for industry. He said that various initiatives with respect to land allocation, power supply and skills development are being undertaken and urged for support from the industry members of CII to achieve this aim.Chairman CII J&K State Council, Sheikh Imran, Vice Chairman Rahul Sahai, Head CII J&K State Office Gourav Mahajan, besides many industrialists, entrepreneurs and intellectuals were present during the interaction.
