Around 50 scholarships worth Rs 25 lakhs on the spot to the needy students in Admission counseling cum scholarship fair to be organized by Aryans Group of Colleges,  Sunday on 26 February 2012. The interviews would be conducted at SCO no. 72-75, Sector-8C, Chandigarh. 

Giving this information to press, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that Scholarship would be given purely on Merit-cum-Means basis. The students who want to attend the scholarship interviews may contact on 89681-99888. The selected students would get Scholarship in B.TECH, B.TECH (LEET), MBA, BBA & BCA courses. The students can also apply for scholarship in M.TECH, Polytechnic, GNM, ANM, +1 & +2 which are proposed to be started in academic session 2012-13.

Dr. Kataria further added that those students, who cannot afford to pay the tuition fees, can avail the benefit of the scholarship. The candidates must bring their academic and income documents. The scholarship amount would be between Rs.10,000 to Rs.3,00,000 per student. Scholarship would be given to students whose annual income is less than Rs 3 Lakh per annum, he added.

Dr. Kataria further said that the purpose of the scheme was to search meritorious and talented candidates from this region and “make them technically and professionally sound”. “The students in this region have a lot of talent to excel, the only thing is to show them right path and provide them quality education”, Dr. Kataria added.

It is to be mentioned that Aryans 20 acre campus is situated on Chandigarh-Patiala highway. The group is running MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed and B.Tech in Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Engineering.
