Deputations put up developmental issues with Chief Minister, seek early redress

Deputations from several parts of the State today met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and apprised her about various developmental concerning them and sought their early redressal.Deputations from Anantnag brought operationalisation of Primary Health Centre, Keherbal and setting up of a fire station and Girls Higher Secondary School there into the notice of the Chief Minister.Inclusion of shrines of Haroot & Maroot and Sun temple at Mattan into the pilgrim tourist circuit were also put up before the Chief Minister for consideration. Issues of availability of street lights at Shilpura and repair and development of Martand canal were also brought into her notice.A deputation from Bhaderwah sought setting up of cable car in the town to boost tourism there and also demanded creation of the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner to redress administrative issues of the people of the town.A deputation of representatives of J&K Home Guard Welfare Association sought rationalisation of their remuneration and services.The Chief Minister assured the deputationists that the genuine issues raised by them would be resolved by the Government in a time bound manner.
