Member Parliament from Ongole constituency of Andhra Pradesh, Y V Subba Reddy today called on Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary to discuss the model adopted by the government for improving drinking water and irrigation facility in the State.Commissioner/Secretary PHE, I&FC Department Sanjeev Verma, Chief Engineer, I&FC Rajiv Gandotra and other senior officers of the department were present during the meeting.The Minister informed the MP that the state government is properly implementing all the lift and surface water irrigation schemes in the State for providing adequate quantity of water to the farmers for irrigation purposes.
