AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has asked Govt. to fulfil its duties towards people of the state and resolve the issues of unemployed technocrats who are suffering because of arrogant and irresponsible attitude of Babus and Ministers. While interacting with un-employed veterinary doctors, who were on protest outside Public Service commission Office Jammu, Er. Rasheed said that while there is a capacity of some four hundred doctors and surgeons but the Govt. has preferred to give excuses and has referred just 24 posts to PSC, who had put these posts for written test today. However majority of the students boycotted the written test and alleged that the limited number of posts have been advertised only to accommodate the blue eyed persons and near and dear ones of ministers. Er. Rasheed assured the protesting doctors of his full support and conveyed their concerns and grievances to Chief Minister’s office and other concerned officials personally. He expressed his displeasure for delaying the clearance to creation of posts in Animal Husbandry Department and not holding the departmental promotion meeting to create more vacancies. He also met Chairman PSC and expressed his displeasure over conducting the written test without considering the genuine reservations of these doctors. Er. Rasheed sought cancellation of the written test, as it has been conducted without addressing the grievances of majority of the candidates. (GNS)
