District Development Commissioner Bhupinder Kumar today convened a meeting of various key departments to discuss the formulation of convergence plan under MGNREGA for the year 2017-18.The meeting was attended by ACD Sushil Kumar, Chief Planning Officer Yoginder Katoch, Chief Horticulture Officer Bipan Pandita, DEPO Doda Abdul Latief, besides other officers.DDC asked the concerned departments to work in tandem to chalk out effective plans keeping in view the area specific developmental needsEarlier, DDC Doda chaired a meeting to review the preparedness for upcoming panchayat elections which was attended by ADC Mohd Hanief Malik, ACR Ranjeet Singh, SDM Gandoh Dilmir Choudhary, ACD Sushil Kumar, BDOs and other officers.He directed the concerned to immediately submit name and location of polling station for existing as well as proposed Panch constituencies alongwith identifying newly proposed Panchayat Halqa.He also directed drafting of proposal of de-limitation of Panchayar Halqa on population criteria, besides drafting proposals for reservation of Panch/Sarpanch constituencies for SC/ST and women.
