Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today slammed Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal for making frivolous complaints against AAP to the Election Commission and squarely blamed him for the sacrilege incidents happening in Punjab for the last over one year under his nose.Gurpreet Singh Waraich AAP state convener in a statement said that Sukhbir Badal;s demand to register FIR against AAP in sacrilege case proves his complicity and bankruptcy of common sense. He said that during his tenure as Home Minister of state about 95 cases of sacrilege took place including theft of holy Guru Granth Sahib from Burj Jawahar Singh Wala village Gurdwara in June 2015. Calling Sukhbir a failed Home Minister Waraich said, “What could be more shameful that during one and half year Sukhbir Badal was unable to trace the Holy Guru Granth Sahib”.Waraich said that AAP would not even think of disrespecting holy granth of any religion as the party has love, affection and reverence for all faiths.Sukhbir Badal is a sore loser who is indulging in such heinous acts to put blame on AAP. He assured Sukhbir Badal that he and all those conspired in sacrilege incidents would be behind bars after AAP formed the government in Punjab.
Waraich said that Sukhbir Badal was trying to spark communal tension in Punjab for his vested political interests.Sukhbir Badal had implicated innocent people in the sacrilege cases and used police repression to force them to blame AAP leaders for sacrilege. Two young Sikh boys of Behbal Kalan for the sacrilege in Bargari were arrested without any evidence and later released them unconditionally. Sukhbir then arrested two VHP leaders in case of sacrilege of Quaran Sharif in Malerkotla and forced them to name Delhi AAP MLA in the case.The key accused exposed Sukhbir Badal that he was forced by police to name the AAP MLA. Even now he is trying to blame AAP for sacrilege in Lambi from where his father Parkash Singh Badal is losing the election.AAP leader accused Sukhbir Badal for ordering police to fire on peacefully demonstrating Sikhs at Behbal Kalan which resulted in death of two Sikhs. Till date no accused police official is named in the FIR. Protecting police officers and implicating innocent people makes clear intentions of Sukhbir Badal who wanted to create communal strife in Punjab and divert the issues of drugs, illegal mining, corruption, political murders, lawlessness and non-governance.
He said that Sukhbir Badal is cursed man whose mind is loaded with madness and lust for power and money for which he can go to any extent. He said linking AAP, NRIs and respected citizens as terrorists shows his dirty mind at play. He is trying to link the sacrilege cases with ISI of Pakistan, foreign powers, radical Sikhs, AAP.He said that decision to transfer sacrilege cases to CBI was taken to prolong the investigation and to keep the probe out of Punjab Police domain as Sukhbir Badal was sure SAD-BJP government is not returning to power.He said that baffled from imminent defeat Sukhbir Badal and his political masters in BJP Narender Modi and Amit Shah are invoking threat national security from Pakistan. Would they mean people have to tolerate corrupt Badal family to feel secure? The conduct of BJP is highly deplorable which shared the loot of Punjab in last ten years and now finding excuses to cover up the misdeeds and failures of SAD-BJP government.
