Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today cautioned people of Punjab against ploy of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal who may invest his ill gotten money in agriculture land in USA, Canada and other countries in the name of Punjabi emigrates.Bhagwant Mann AAP campaign committee chairman in a statement ridiculed the ‘bluff’ of Sukhbir Badal who has promised to buy one lakh hectares of agriculture land abroad and offer it to Punjabi emigrates to run their professional settlements. He said that it would not be amazing if Sukhbir Badal would promise to settle unemployed Punjabi youth at the moon in collaboration with US government.Mann said that people of Punjab would not accept such nonsense allurements by Sukhbir Badal. He said that Sukhbir Badal and company had indulged in land grabbing of NRIs and poor farmers and expecting that he would help the Punjabi emigrates to settle abroad would be blunder. “Going by the track record of Sukhbir Badal, one can assume that he is just to rise to next level of cheating and bluffing”, Mann said.
He said that it was known fact that Badal family had purchased huge chunks of agriculture land in foreign countries and Sukhbir often visit these countries at government exchequer on the pretext of bringing new agriculture technology, developing new techniques in solid waste management and promoting export of vegetables and fruits directly from Punjab to Ukraine, Russia, China and Middle east countries. He said that all his bluffs are now live in the memory of people.Mann said that he was puzzled that how Sukhbir Badal kept such a wonderful idea secret for the last ten years. If he could do implement the plan of buying agriculture land abroad at an appropriate time, the families of over 30,000 debt ridden farmers who committed suicide could be settled abroad.Mann said that Abraham Lincoln might have people like Sukhbir Badal in his mind while writing the quote, "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."
