The unique romantic comedy miniseries format of SAB’s Khatmal-E-Ishque has been a hit amongst the viewers as the content is brief, funny and meaningful. This week, Khatmal-E-Ishque is introducing a new story, about a newly married couple and the struggles of a Ghar Jamai.Gauri Gupta (Nikita Sharma) lives with her Nani and three mamas (maternal uncles) who are extremely possessive about her. When Gauri turns of marriageable age, the three uncles go on a hunt for a suitable match for her. However, each of them reject the other uncle’s choice. Eventually, Nani steps in and introduces Shivam (Himanshu Soni), who is ready to become a Ghar Jamai. Therefore they go ahead and get them married.But, after marriage when Shivam comes home, he is faced with many challenges with the protective mamas. They believe that they cannot allow a stranger to sleep in the same bed as their niece. Sadly, Gauri, Shivam’s newly married bride also seems to favor her family’s choices.With a strong cast including Himanshu Soni in the lead as Shivam and Nikita Sharma opposite him as Gauri Gupta, this new story seems to be a promising one! Other prominent actors who are playing crucial roles are Shekhar Shukla, Atul Parchure and Prasad Barve as the three protective uncles of the female lead.Commenting on his new role, Himanshu Soni who plays Shivam, said, “I am privileged to be a part of Khatmal-E-Ishque, which has been unique show in the Indian television space and also sharing screen space with veteran actors like Atul Parchure has been a great experience.
