Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan, today chaired a meeting to review progress of the construction of the Srinagar Ring Road project in Kashmir. Collector Land Acquisition PWD, Officials of R&B Department, NHAI and other concerned officers attended the meeting, while as Deputy Commissioners of Ganderbal, Bandipora, Budgam and Pulwama districts participated in the meeting through video-conferencing.On the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner emphasized the need for expediting work on the project and urged the officers to ensure that concerned departments carry out works within the stipulated timeframe. He also directed the NHAI officials to speed up the work without any further delay.The meeting discussed in detail various issues creating hindrances in the completion of Semi Ring Road and explored means to resolve them for smooth completion of the prestigious project.
