Rattan Group of Institutions organized a Workshop for Financial Literacy to the Villagers on Cashless Banking, in collaboration with UCO Bank, Chandigarh. Governor, Punjab, and Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh, V.P. Singh Badnore was the Chief Guest at the moment. The main goal behind it was to make people aware regarding on-line banking, though I-Banking, M-Banking & E-Wallet.The Chief Guest was accorded a ceremonial band reception by Sunder Lal Aggarwal, Chairman, RGI,  DGM & Zonal Head Chandigarh UCO Bank, Municipal Councilors, Sarpanches and Panches of Gram Panchyats of nearby villages. The G.M. of  UCO Bank  U.C. Sexena gave a PowerPoint presentation featuring on Internet Banking, Use of Debit Card/Credit Card,E-wallet ,Aadhar-enabled payment system etc. He also gave a live demonstration regarding mobile banking using a UCO App.Later,a skit was presented on the theme that show cased the benefits of cashless banking . Monika Lamba, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mohali also educated the students on Awareness about Free Legal Services to the Needy and speedy disposal of legal cases through Mediation Centers and Lok Adalats which are available in all the districts of Punjab and country. Chief Guest, V.P. Singh Badnore while encouraging the students told that we must adopt the ever changing technology that will save time, is secure, and speed up the banking business.
