Prof. G.M. Bhat, Rector Bhaderwah Campus of Jammu University, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.The Governor discussed with Prof. Bhat important issues relating to the functioning of the Campus. Prof. Bhat informed the Governor about Jammu University securing a Scoping Project valuing about Rupees two Crore (£200,000)  under the Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF), in collaboration with University College London.  He also apprised the Governor about Jammu University’s efforts to preserve Guryul Ravine Section, Khanmoh, a Permian-Triassic (P-T) Boundary Section in Srinagar, where the Jammu University along with 10 other Universities from all over the world, are working to restore its World Natural Heritage status since 2007.Prof. Bhat invited the Governor to inaugurate the three day (23rd -25th  January) Youth Festival- Sangam-2016-17 at Bhaderwah Campus.
