Union Minister and Punjab BJP president, Vijay Sampla today brushed aside rumours that he had resigned from the party. Sampla said, “I was occupied with a special poll mission due to which I wasn’t in contact with media and some of my friends. Some people used my busyness to spread rumours that I had resigned from the party”. Sampla reiterated that he was busy in poll related activities to ensure that the coalition scores a Hat-trick by winning for the third consecutive time.Meanwhile, state party secretary, Vineet Joshi also rubbished the resignation rumour stating that there wasn’t an iota of truth in the reports. “Sampla ji is busy burning midnight oil just to get the coalition back into power. In order to complete his mission, he is in constant touch with the workers, candidates and the high command” said Joshi.
