The Shiromani Akali Dal today lashed out at AAP leader Bhagwant Mann for working against the interests of the state and said that he was hatching conspiracies against the state in collusion with the Non Punjabi forces who are all out to cause maximum damage to state. In a statement released from the party head office here today, the SAD Spokesman and advisor to Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that it was intriguing that the Member Parliament from Punjab is working against the interests of state by promoting those who are all out to cause damage to Punjab. He said that Mr. Mann ties the turban in basanti colour as a tribute to legend Bhagat Singh but the bitter truth is he is working against Punjab, the land of Bhagat Singh. He said that most unfortunate is that he is speaking the language of Non Punjabis against the Punjab while describing the Punjabi youth as drug addicts and leveling all sort of allegations against the state.
Sirsa said that it was very surprising that the man who was once popular among the masses for his comedy with his satire is now working as a puppet in the hands of AAP Supremo and Delhi CM Mr. Arvind Kejriwal who wants to become Chief Minister of Punjab for causing maximum damage to the state, known for patriots and warriors always ready to die for the nation. He said that it was in fact very disturbing that the farmers of the state are contributing maximum for national food bowl but forces inimical to the peace and progress of the state are hiring the services of people like Bhagwant Mann to work against the state. The SAD leader urged the AAP leader to get out of his deep slumber to realize what he was doing. He said that these people who had deputed ‘Biharis’ and other non Punjabis on the leaders of Punjab to assess their work are least interested in development and progress of the state and once their task of attaining political power is accomplished in the state, they will kick the people like him (Bhagwant Mann) out to rule the state and plunder it like the Mughals.
