AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today announced 80 percent reservation in jobs for residents of Punjab in the industry and to bring back the industrial units shifted to other states due to corruption and extortion from industrialists by the Badal family.Kejriwal was addressing a massive rally here during his 330 kms long, two day long "Ghar Bachao Muhim" in Majha region started from Pathankot to culminate at Khemkaran. He assured the people that whosoever be the Chief Minister of Punjab in the AAP government, it would be his duty to fulfill all promises.
Delhi Chief Minister said that bringing to book the culprits of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib, eliminating drugs, waiving farmer loans to prevent their suicides, and providing jobs to the youth and a giving a life of dignity to every Punjabi would be his priority. "I promise to stop drug supply within a month and de-addiction of about 40 lakh addicted youthwithin 6 month", he added.He said that he was pained that a so called 'panthic government' alloweddesecration of Holy Scripture to happen and then spared the culprits. He said that there was no doubt that ruling party was involved in the sacrilege incidents. He said that conspirators and accused of Bargari sacrilege and Bebbal Kalan Police firing, killing two youth, would not be allowed to go scot free.
He committed that AAP government on first day of taking oath would enhance the old age, widow and handicapped pension from existing Rs.500 to Rs.2500 per month. He said that AAP is committed to rejuvenate the education and health system in Punjab which has collapsed during Badal government.He said that within three years all government schools would be re-modeled and 'Pind Clinics' will be opened in every village. He said that Delhi Government had opened Mohalla clinics and renovated all government schools with facilities like swimming pools. Kejriwal gave a clarion call to people of Punjab and in aprticular the residents of Majha region to join the decisive battle against corruption, drug and mining mafia. He said that ten years of rule by crooked political family had ruined Punjab. He said that very powerful politicians like Bikram Majithia who has links with international drug mafia were selling drugs in Punjab. He said that almighty has given an opportunity to AAP and also the people of Punjab to save Punjab from clutches of corrupt and inept alliance of SAD-BJP.Kejriwal further said that "Ghar Bachao Muhim", was aimed to create a bond with the people of Majha to save them from the peril of drugs, "I have full solidarity with the families whose breadwinners fell prey to drugs", he lamented.
