Welcoming the imposition of model code of conduct for elections in 5 states, Aam Aadmi Party National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal said that it is the duty of Election Commission of India now to ensure free and fair elections in state.People of Punjab are excited to liberate Punjab from the clutches of Akali Mafia and with announcement of model code of conduct they are now free to form government of common people.” said Kejriwal while addressing the media at Chandigarh. He said that people will now come out in huge numbers to support AAP in Punjab and Goa. “The countdown of BJP will start from today in Goa as well. The record of Delhi elections will be broken in these elections.” He assured.“The Election Commission of India must ensure fair and free elections in states and more paramilitary forces need to be deployed. Law and order is an important issue in Punjab.” said Kejriwal.Answering the question of announcing CM face in Punjab, Kejriwal said that the elected MLAs will decide whom they want as their leader. So AAP will announce the Chief Minister after elections. “The main competitor of AAP in Punjab is Corruption, Drugs, Unemployment, atrocities etc., Congress and SAD will fight for the 2nd and 3rd pot.” said Kejriwal. He said that AAP will get 100+ seats in elections.“The election of Punjab will be fought on issue and the faces will not be important. The people of Punjab will contest the elections on their own like Delhi and form the government of common people.” Kejriwal said.
