Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment and Punjab Bharatiya Janta Party president, Vijay Sampla today welcomed the Bhim App launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that the PM had honoured the dalit community by naming it after Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Sampla said that while other parties indulged in politics, only the BJP knew how to respect dalits.Coming down heavilyon Bhaujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati for terming the BJP as anti-dalit, Sampla said, “Money is the only God Mayawati believes in and she only knows to sell dalits’s interests to come into power”. Labeling Mayawati as the biggest enemy of dalits in Uttar Pradesh, Sampla said, “When elections are around the corner Mayawati plays her dalit card, but after coming into power she forgets them and gets back to making money. She sells her party tickets”.Vijay Sampla said that the cashless scheme of PM Modi will benefit the last common man in the lowest rung of the society because he is the one who has suffered the most. Sampla said that PM Modi himself stated in his speech that only Dr. Ambedkar had a clear vision regarding Indian economy and the real identity of the Father of Indian Constitution was his unparalleled economic astuteness. Dr. Ambedkar had advocated that currency should be replaced every 10 years and PM Modi has followed his ideology and initiated steps against black money, he said.
Sampla said, “BJP has realized the ideology of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and by developing the Panchtiraths in Mahu, Nagpur, Delhi, Mumbai and London which are linked to the life of Dr.Ambedkar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has honoured him. The Congress government didn’t even allow Dr. Ambedkar’s statue to be erected in Delhi, while the present Modi government has preserved his legacy”. He further said, “By launching the National SC/ST Hub, Zero Defect Zero Effect and Venture Captial Fund schemes PM Modi has provided support to entrepreneurs form the community. Those who used to seek jobs will now create jobs for others. The community will now progress and add to the economic growth of the nation. Free gas connections are being given to poor and needy women under the Ujjwala scheme”.Sampla also lauded the Akali-BJP coalition government for renovating Bhagwan Valmiki Ji temple in Ramtirath, Amritsar and Guru Ravidass Ji temple in Khuralgarh and said that by doing so the state government had given respect to the community.
