Delhi Health Minister and senior AAP leader Satyendra Kumar Jain accused the Modi Government of misusing the CBI to intimidate the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party by framing false accusations and raiding the offices of AAP ministers. While addressing a press conference in Amritsar, he said that the growing popularity of Arvind Kejriwal led AAP government in Delhi as well as throughout the nation is giving sleepless nights to Modi and his coterie and they are acting in haste to curb the people’s voice. Referring to the recent raid on his office by CBI, Jain said that it is a prerogative of every minister to appoint his OSD under which he had appointed Dr. Nikunj Aggarwal as his OSD who was removed from the post two months back. Questioning the silence of PM Narendra Modi on the corruption by mega business houses such as Birlas, Jain asked the PM to use the CBI for nailing out the corrupts who have amassed uncountable wealth by indulging in corrupt practices. While answering to a query, Jain said that farmers in Punjab are suffering due to anti-farmer policies of Badal and Modi governments. While tere is no policy to compensate the loss to the farmers of Punjab, Kejriwal led Delhi government provided Rs. 50000/- per acre to the farmers of Delhi for crop loss. The Congress and Akali Dal are hand in glove with each other and share common business interests due to which the Akalis let off Capt. Amarinder Singh in corruption cases while the Congress government did not take any action against the Akalis despite concrete evidence of the indulgence of Akali leaders in drug trade, illegal mining and corruption of all sorts. Jain said that he was been meeting the people of Punjab and going by their mood, Aam Aadmi party is set to form Punjab government in 2017 which will take the corrupt Akali and Congress leaders to task. On the occasion Sarbjot Singh Zone Incharge Amritsar and Gurbej Singh Media Incharge Amritsar were also present.
