Visibility may shrink as fog is expect to get even denser while days will become more cold till the New Year Eve in the national capital, Bihar and parts of Uttar Pradesh, weather experts said.According to the current weather pattern, Kashmir will have to wait till the new year for the snowfall which is expected between January 3-7. "Fog will continue till continue till December 31 and January 1 and become more dense in the national capital. From January 2 onwards, fog will drop," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.Weather analysts say that the difference between maximum and minimum temperature will drop gradually by the New Year's Eve and fog would remain dense or moderate at different regions of Delhi, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh till January 2 or 3. "Due to the easterly winds from Bay of Bengal, which are humid and lead to a drop in the maximum temperature, fog is going to increase by the New Year's Eve and days would become comparatively colder," Mahesh Palawat, Director of private weather analyst Skymet told IANS.Due to western disturbance the valley may get some snowfall while the National Capital and area around it, in Punjab and Haryana may face a little rainfall by January 6."The western disturbance in Jammu and Kashmir will lead to snowfall, at the same time a cyclonic circulation over Haryana and Punjab which may result in light rainfall. This will drop the temperature further," Palawat said."On New Year's Eve, the current weather pattern suggest low rainfall in some regions of Bihar and Jharkhand," Palawat said.
