Deputy Chairman Legislative Council, Jahangir Hussain Mir along with MLC Sham Lal Bhagat today conducted an extensive tour of border areas of Manjakote sub-division near the line of control in Rajouri district, and interacted with the residents here.The Deputy Chairman stressed on close coordination among all concerned departments to ensure availability of ration, power supply, drinking water, security and sanitation so that the people would not face any problem.During the visit to Gambhir Muglan in Manjakote, the Deputy Chairman was briefed by the locals regarding various problems faced by them. Responding to the demands, the Deputy Chairman assured them that all issues and projected demands shall be resolved in due course of time.He urged the concerned officers for immediate resolving of public grievances and timely completion of sanctioned developmental projects. He also urged upon the RDD to clear the pending wages of local labourers under MGNREGA. He also appealed the people to maintain peace and amity and to cooperate with the security agencies and civil administration.
