Aam Aadmi Party on Monday termed 9 point agenda of Congress chief Captain Amrinder Singh as a bundle of lies and fraud with the people of Punjab. In a press statement, AAP state convener, Gurpreet Singh Waraich said that the same promises were made by Captain before 2002 elections but did exactly opposite after winning the elections. The people of state no more trust Amrinder Singh now.Waraich said that Captain is making fake promise of providing government job to every family but his record as CM Punjab says that he was the one who banned the government recruitments in state. Captain took charge in March 2002 and on April 24, 2002 he chaired a meeting of his cabinet to direct recruitment agencies to stop the process. The orders to stay even the promotions and abolish promotions were also issued by none other than Captain. It is so funny that Captain is talking about eradicating drugs from Punjab in 4 weeks. The same Captain saved his nephew Majithia from CBI enquiry in drug paddling case going against the will of whole party.
” Waraich said.Waraich criticized Amrinder for telling lie on the issue of separate department for the welfare of ex-servicemen. “Congress was in power for 10 years at centre but Captain did not occurred a single word, how can we trust him now?” asked Waraich. Captain also betrayed the farmers of state by stop free electricity to farmers.“His own colleague Shamsher Singh Dullo has publicly termed him anti Dalit how can he say anything about AAP when the party has announced to appoint dalit as Deputy Chief Minister.” Waraich said. “Just because he threw show on Captain’s nephew, sitting dalit MLA Tarlochan Singh Soondh was denied party ticket.” Waraich quipped.Talking about SYL issue, Waraich said that the same Captain welcomed prime minister Indra Gandhi to commence the construction of SYL and is now trying to befool people on the same issue. “Our leader Kejriwal has cleared his stand that Punjab has no extra water to share with any other state. Why Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are quite on the issue? Has Captain enough guts to ask his leaders to clarify their stand on SYL issue?.” Asked Waraich.
