Universal Group of Institutions celebrated Christmas with religious gaiety, fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration started with cake cutting and its distribution at Manav Prayas NGO, Derabassi and Government senior secondary school, Lalru. Students also put up cultural show .A student dressed as Santa conducted fun games there .A play depicting the birth of jesus Christ was also enacted by the students .The quiz competition was also organised for the students at School , where the winners were awarded with certificates and trophies. As a Christmas present, school students were also given the knowledge of Special scholarship schemes.Chairman , UGI , Dr.Gurpreet Singh gave Christmas message to faculty and students to contribute to those who are in need and to guide the people who are ignorant and confused .He reminded of the love and peace brought to earth by Jesus Christ .
