Students of Freedom International School won the ‘Pearson’s City –Wide Quiz’ held at Tattva School. Aimed at providing an opportunity for students to showcase their talent and indulge in their quest for knowledge, Pearson Schools, managed by Pearson India organized a city-wide inter-school quiz competition for the second year in a row in Bangalore for students from Grade 5 to 8. The contest was organized with Nexus consulting as their quiz partners. After rounds of rigorous competition students Sneh S Lahurika and Abhay Bestrapalli from Freedom International School emerged as winners. Aditya Kishore and Kartik S from National Public School, HSR Layout were 1st Runner up and Agastya S and Mathew George again from National Public School, Indira nagar were the 2nd runner ups. The Quiz received an overwhelming response from the student community and witnessed participation of more than 127 teams from 17 schools. The winners received exciting prizes and participant certificates.

We have been receiving overwhelming participation from students and would like to thank all the schools for lending their full support in the competition.”The questions at the quiz ranged from an entire spectrum of topics from the school curriculum of 5th-8th grade and also included a certain amount of current events, sports, and popular culture. The format of the quiz was structured in a manner that not only tests the knowledge of students but also required them to apply sophisticated team tactics. The quiz created a unique platform for students to learn the importance of fostering team spirit and indulging in healthy competition.
