Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary today visited Government Medical College, Jammu to enquire about the health of economically weak patients of Suchetgarh, undergoing treatment for different diseases in the hospital.The Minister directed Chief Medical Officer, GMC and Superintendent, GMC to make proper arrangements for providing medical assistance to the patients, besides ensuring that they get free medicines and surgical items.The Minister interacted with the patients including Vimla Devi, Bachan Lal, Sardari Lal and Usha Devi hailing from village Motian, Chanu Chak Camp, Sai Kalan and Jassore. He assured them that the government will provide every possible assistance to them.The Minister further said that the government has taken various path-breaking steps to provide better medicare facilities to the people belonging to the poorer sections of the society.
