The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh today said the youth of J&K have the potential to excel in all spheres of life, including fashion, sports as well as creative arts.The Deputy Chief Minister expressed his views while felicitating Mrs Menu Mahajan, the winner of “Mrs India Exquisite- Queen for a cause” competition 2016-17 at a function in Jammu today.Senior political leader Ms Mamta Singh and several prominent dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the youth of the State have tremendous potential to compete in various national and international competitions and have proved their talent.He said it is a matter of pride that a Jammuaite has won the prestigious competition at national level in which 18 participants from different states participated. It proves the enormous talent that our youth have which needs to be honed and channelized. It is pertinent to mention that Ms. Menu Mahajan would be representing the Country in Baltimore, USA in Mrs. International Exquisite 2017.
