National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today accused Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Capt. Amrinder Singh of looting Punjab for their personal gains. Addressing Punjab Inquilab rally at Mukerian, Kejriwal said that Both Badals and Amarinder Singh have looted Punjab during last 15 years and now the time is ripe to get rid of them for which people of Punjab were waiting eagerly.“Badals during the last 10 years of misrule amassed huge money due to their control on almost all businesses including Transport, Cable, Mining, Liquor etc.”, Kejriwal said claiming that Badals have squeezed Punjab to their fullest capacity to mint money. As Akalis have already smelted their humiliating defeat in the forthcoming assembly polls, they have colluded with Amarinder and Singh now they are contesting Punjab assembly polls jointly, he claimed. “I have learnt that many of the hoardings, which have been put up across Punjab have actually been funded by Badals”, Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal once again revealed the bank accounts of Captain Amarinder Singh and his family and said if he was saying anything wrong, then he was ready to face legal action from Amarinder. He challenged Captain Amrinder Singh to prove that the Swiss Bank Accounts revealed by him are fake or it would be clear that his claim is right.Kejriwal reiterated that contracts of mining and bus permits, which Badals obtained through misuse of power would be taken back and would be distributed to unemployed youth, once AAP is voted to power. “So far more than 40 lakh youth of Punjab are trapped in the drug network, spread by Akalis and after formation of government in Punjab, AAP would break the supply chain of drugs within one month and drug-addicted youth would be rehabilitated by opening rehabilitation centres at war foot level within six months and giving them employment”, Kejriwal vowed. Expressing concerns over the growing atrocities on dalits in Punjab, which could be evident of several barbaric murders of youth, whose limbs were even chopped off by liquor mafia, Kejriwal said AAP Government would constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to re-open and re-investigate cases pertaining to atrocities on dalits to punish those found guilty for such acts.
“Badals chop off hands of Dalits for opposing their wrong doings but now AAP will strengthen their hands by giving post of deputy CM to dalit community.” said Kejriwal. He said SAD-BJP Government, which claimed to be a panthic Government has failed to nab culprits of series of sacrilege incidents of Guru Granth Sahib, Quran-e-Sharif and Bhagwat Gita. National Convener of AAP, Kejriwal said that during the last 15 years, be it SAD-BJP or Congress, none of them have actually worked to improve the health and education system in Punjab, which have not only been deteriorated but of-late has been completely collapsed.Jarnail Singh said that the statement of Nabha jail break case accused Parminder Singh Pinda that he also have links with drug case accused DSP Jagdish Singh Bhola revealed that the nexus of drug paddlers and gangsters is flourishing under Akali leaders patronage.
