Quest group of institutions organized a workshop on Cloud Server Configuration. The key note speaker at the moment was Harish Chawla, Asst. Manager-IT from Pisoft Informatics .He informed students about Introduction to cloud computing, scope and need of cloud computing, implementation and configuration domain controller like Primary domain controller and addition domain controller using Microsoft window server 2012,how to configure virtualization in server ,how to implement remote setups through cloud & implement cloud using Microsoft office 365.He further informed that there is a dearth of resources trained in cloud technologies and consequently there is a huge requirement of the same in industry.
Focusing on the technological education, he said that there should be a close association between industry and academia. Nowadays it is imperative for the students to have the latest knowledge about the activities of the industry. While speaking at the moment Chairman D S Sekhon said that the purpose of this workshop was to make the students understand the practical aspects of the cloud computing. He further informed engineers can create a new world, if the right path is shown to them .According to him there is ample requirement of professionals in cloud computing so students should not only stress on theoretic but practical and informative learning as well so that they can to secure best jobs for themselves in future.
