Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today visited Industrial Estate Rajouri and interacted with the entrepreneurs there.The entrepreneurs raised various issues pertaining to the IE including infrastructure development, power supply, drainage and strengthening of interior road network.While responding to the demands, the Minister said all issues and projected demands shall be resolved in due course of time after taking up the same with the concerned officers. The minister also announced to release an amount of rupees Rs 25 lakh for the development of the infrastructure in the industrial estate. He also mentioned about measures taken by the present government to improve ground level working in all the departments.
The Minister said the government is developing the industrial infrastructure including the expansion of existing industrial estates and is working on establishing new industrial estates in the state for which the process of creating land bank is under process. He also directed the officers of Industries Department to put in sincere efforts so as to make the industrial sector of the state more self sufficient.Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri AS Chib General Manager DIC Rajouri Shiraz Malik, along with officers and officials of DIC Rajouri, entrepreneurs and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
