On the occasion of 52th Utsav of Baba Chand Maharaj Ji at Udasin Braham Akhara Sahib Mandi Pehowa in Haryana, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that Sikh saints played an important role for the welfare of humanity and had a great contribution for the protection of our rich culture, customs and high traditions.He recalled the sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh ji and said Guruji and his family made their way to martyrdom for the sake of Nation. He also show the path of spiritualism besides social reform, he added. He called upon the people to follow the path shown by Sikh Gurus and serve the society particularly the poor and downtrodden.Sant Baba Guruvender Singh, Gurdwara Mandi Sahib, Baba Jot Singh and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
