The District Employment & Counseling Centre (DE&CC), Samba organized a career guidance programme for girl students of Government Higher Secondary School, Jakh under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA).The programme was inaugurated by Naresh Kumar, Assistant Director DE&CC who emphasized on the need of career guidance in today’s scenario especially for girls so that they can choose a career of their choice and excel in that field.Sweta Rana, Dy. Commandant 38 Bn CRPF Bari Brahmana was the guest faculty in the programme who apprised the students of career options in paramilitary forces especially CRPF at different levels. She motivated them to be career conscious and focus on new emerging areas of their interest.The students were provided guidance about various career options available after class 12th and graduation by a team of resource persons led by Ankurveer Arora, deputed by Ministry of Labour & Employment, New Delhi.Principal GGHSS Deepak Gupta, Statistical Officer besides staff and students of the school were present on the occasion.
