Deputy Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today visited various areas in Tehsil Gurez and took stock of various ongoing developmental works under execution in these areas. He also took stock of the availability of essential commodities and other facilities including medicare facilities available in the hospitals of the Tehsil.The Deputy Speaker also convened a meeting with the officers of Sub Division Gurez and reviewed the pace of progress of developmental works undertaken in the Tehsil, at Dak Bunglow Dawar today.Mr. Gurezi asked the concerned officers to work with utmost dedication and give focused attention for completion of all developmental projects under execution in the Tehsil. He exhorted upon them to put in their sincere and dedicated efforts for effective implementation of various government sponsored schemes and prioritizing issues of public interest so that tangible results are realized on ground level.The Deputy Speaker instructed the district administration Bandipora to conduct field survey of the Tehsil and prepare comprehensive plans under different sectors like road connectivity, water supply schemes, irrigation facilities, protection of bunds and development of infrastructure for tourism and submit the same to the concerned quarter for accord of necessary sanction and arrangement of funds.
