Reacting to the revelations of Senior PDP Leader Muzaffar Hussain Beigh that Burhan Wani was killed to destabilize the Mehbooba Mufti led Govt in the State, Congress today urged upon Mr. Beigh to come clean on this issue as the revelations made by him is more serious than anything. In a statement issued to KNS, Congress also asked Senior PDP Leader (Mr. Beigh) to as to which force is behind destabilizing the Government, as the Burhan Wani was killed by none other than the Army and State Police in a joint operation, Party said.Describing the revelations of Mr. Beigh as a serious matter, JKPCC Spokesperson sought clarity from the veteran PDP Leader, who is also the Member of the Lok Sabha, the Party believes that the revelations of Mr. Beigh indicate threats to security of the State and strongly urge that the truth behind Burhan Wani Killings should come to the fore inorder to unearth the conspiracies being hatched to vitiate the peace in the State, he said.
Stating that Chief Minister being herself the Head of the Unified Command should have knowledge about what was going in the State, PCC Spokesperson asserted that when this institution (CM) was not able to ascertain the facts or not having knowledge about what was going on below her nose, then it is really very dangerous for the integrity and security of the of the State, which needs to be looked into and dealt decisively. He emphasized that CM should seek full details behind the sensational statement by her Senior Party Colleagues, which has created a chaotic situation in the State.The Spokesperson further said that Mr. Beigh being a very responsible person with a great political wisdom is advised to enlighten the State political leadership of the facts behind his revelations as that will only help set things right at present and in future also, because his revelation indicate something which not only needs to be debated or discussed, but ascertained fully, so that the integrity of the State is not ruined and security not compromised, he said.Seeking immediate probe into this issue, PCC Spokesperson said that a judicial probe should be conducted to uncover the conspiracies being hatched to destabilize the State Govt as revealed by Muzaffar Hussain Beigh. He also urged the Chief Minister to break her silence on the issue and prevail upon Mr. Beigh to open his mouth in the larger interest of the security of the State and people, he said. (KNS)
