Commissioner Secretary Higher Education Department, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon today convened a College Principals meeting to review the arrangements put in place for ongoing board examinations.The meeting was attended by Principals of Degree Colleges of Kashmir division, besides officers of Higher Education Department and other concerned.Dr .Samoon received first hand appraisal of the arrangements done to facilitate students and for smooth conduct of the examinations. He was informed that all necessary arrangements including proper heating facility and adequate safe drinking water have been made available at all the exam centers.On the occasion, College Principals informed the Commissioner Secretary that Committees have been constituted to supervise the arrangements for the convenience of the candidates.The Secretary stressed the officers that no stone should be left unturned to facilitate students who are appearing in the Board exams, besides continually monitor the situation for effective readdressing issues, if any.
