In connection with upcoming Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday (Gurupurab), and Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom RA, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone today visited Gurdwara Chattipadshahi and Ziyarat Hazrat Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom RA to take stock of arrangements made for the devotees.The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by officers of PHE, PDD, Traffic, Police, JKSRTC, RTO Kashmir, SMC and directed them to ensure all facilities at Gurdwara Chattipadshahi Ziyarat Makhdoom Sahib (RA).He directed for providing uninterrupted supply of electricity besides adequate drinking water supply and also instructed for better transport arrangements for the devotees besides adequate parking facilities.The Deputy Commissioner also stressed for maintaining cleanliness in and around both the places.
