Punjab BJP president Vijay Sampla today hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move against black money. In his blog Sampla said, “Keeping nation’s interests first, PM Modi has shown his political will and at the same time has initiated steps against anti-national elements. The decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes has wiped away billions of black money stashed by the corrupt. This step is an indication that ‘Ache Din’ are there in the offing”.Sampla further said, “PM Modi’s this decision has targeted black money holders, promoters of fake currency, drug mafia, people who are funding terror and hawala operators. At the same time the Indian government is committed to protect the interests of small businessmen, housewives, poor families, farmers and laborers”.Appealing the people to join this anti-corruption campaign, Vijay Sampla said that citizens and tax payers have welcomed the move.

The state party chief said that the castigating remarks made by Congress, AAP other political parties reflect their internal pain. “The political parties should make it clear whether they are against black money holders and anti-national elements or not? The decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes demonstrated PM’s strong political will and his unwavering commitment to fulfill the promises he made to people. Also, PM Modi has dealt a strong blow to his critics” said Sampla. In his blog Vijay Sampla wrote, “This decision will benefit the nation in three ways.  First, the black money stashed by the people, who despite a number of appeals by the government did not disclose it, will just be reduced to trash. Second, the black currency market running parallel to our economy will get ruined. Also, this has thwarted evil designs of anti-India elements that support terror on the Indian soil. Thirdly, the tendency to accumulate wealth by corrupt means will also end”.“Ache Din are in the offing for honest citizens of the nation, but bad days have started for those who have looted the people” added Sampla.
