Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today felicitated the meritorious students of Government Higher Secondary School Jakh.CEO Samba O.P Bhagat, Principal, Higher Secondary School Jakh, Pradeep Gupta, parents and prominent members of the society were present on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion the Minister said, “Our students  have potential to achieve success at state, national and international level if given avenues and support like smart classes and fully equipped scientific laboratories".Mr. Ganga further announced that the school shall be adopted by the Minister and funds will be made available under Constituency Development Fund in addition to the provisions of Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme for the development of the school.The students who received cash prizes included Priyanka Devi, Aman Knathia who secured 87% and 83% marks in Senior Secondary School examination and Komal Sharma, Vivek Dabgotra who secured 86.6% and 84% marks in Higher Secondary School examination respectively.
