Meeting of Joint House Committee on Mubarak Mandi Complex under the chairmanship of Member Legislative Council, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo held here today.The meeting was among others attended by Legislators includes GN Monga, Surender Kumar Chowdhary, Vikramaditya Singh, Sofi Yousuf, Ajaz Ahmad Khan, Pawan Kumar Gupta and Ashok Khajuria.Threadbare discussions were made on various issues related to Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex. The committee directed the concerned authority to provide detailed report regarding reasons for repeated fire incidents and copies of FIR lodged in connection with it at the complex, besides constitution of the Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society, its registration and modus-operandi, finances and budgetry provisions, present CEO/members and staff, level of achievements/status of work till date.The Committee also sought status of items or articles shifted from the Tosh-i-khana, Mubarak Mandi Complex and reasons for demolition of historical Chabutra and park.The Committee also condoled the demise of Sadhiya Arora son of MLC Ramesh Arora. A two minutes silence was also observed by the Committee to pray for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
