The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) is to blame for the prolonged detention of AAP and Congress leaders here on Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday. After BJP MP Satyapal Singh criticized Delhi Police for detaining Kejriwal, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, the AAP leader gave a clean chit to police."Sir, it was neither Delhi Police nor MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) but PMO which was handling the situation yesterday. They mishandled it," Kejriwal tweeted.Satyapal Singh, a former Mumbai Police chief, tweeted earlier that Delhi Police should have handled the situation better but "they completely mishandled it".On Wednesday, police detained Kejriwal and Gandhi for several hours after they tried to meet the family of a retired soldier who committed suicide here over OROP's implementation. Sisodia was the first to be detained -- after he met the family. Gandhi was the first to be let off followed by Sisodia and Kejriwal.
