Condemning the brutal cane-charge by Cops on the peaceful protesting employees of Thermal Power Plant at Bathinda on Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that such an action against employees by Akalis shows their frustration. It seems Akalis want to suppress any voice of revolt against their ‘corrupt regime’ and has now resorted to any mean to snub the genuine voice of people, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann said. What was the fault of protesting employees, as they were just demanding that the government should revoke its decision to close state-run thermal plants as it would benefit only private players and would put burden on the pocket of consumers, besides leaving hundreds of employees unemployed, Mann said.AAP MP said that days of SAD-BJP Government are numbered as people have already made up their minds to throw out them out of power in 2017.  “The upcoming AAP government is committed to reverse all anti-employees decision of Akalis and even the alleged corruption in the setting of the private power plants will also be probed”, he added.
