Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary today inaugurated a blood donation camp at Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor .MLA Akhnoor Rajeev Sharma & Block Medical Officer Vinod Sharma was also present on the occasion.The Minister appreciated the enthusiasm of the youth and asked them to organize similar programmes regularly and motivate others to join the noble cause .He also asked the health department to organize more and more awareness programmes and dispel any misconception about blood donation.The people of the area demanded that the hospital should be upgraded and advanced diagnostic facilities should be made available in the institution. The Minister assured the people that the matter will be taken up with the concerned and said that the government is committed to provide best medicare facilities to the people of the state for which various steps have been taken by the government.The blood donation camp was organised organized by Bajrang Dal.
