Advisor to Chief Minister Prof. Amitabh Mattoo today conducted an extensive tour of Jammu city and took stock of problems and demands of the people. The Advisor said that the government is working on a comprehensive development roadmap for equitable development of all regions to make Jammu and Kashmir a model state.He said that focused attention is being given on developing requisite infrastructure with focus on improving the basic amenities.Reaffirming the commitment of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for women empowerment, Prof. Mattoo said that many path breaking initiatives have been taken in this regard.Highlighting the scheme such as Ladli Beti, Aasra and CM Scooty scheme which are aimed at welfare of girl child by creating a conducive atmosphere for her. He said that various initiatives aimed at imparting skill development and entrepreneurship developments have also been launched.
