Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday criticized Punjab Government for arresting nurses who were protesting peacefully in front of the official residence of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. In a press statement, AAP state convener, Gurpreet Singh Waraich said that rather than arresting and torturing the nurses, Chief Minister must have listen to their genuine demands.Waraich said that the nurses were working on the minimum wages from long time and demanded to regularize their jobs but rather than listen to their grievance, government got them arrested. He said that the government must learn to respect the women.Waraich said were not paid their salaries for last 6 months. He said that the government machinery has been failed in Punjab are youth is unable to get jobs. The ruling alliance has grabbed the natural resources of the state.Waraich promised that after the formation of AAP government in Punjab the issue of nurses will be addressed on the priority bases.
