Minister for Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, Law and Justice Abdul Haq Khan today inaugurated the Zangli Amusement Park developed at a cost of Rs 92.40 lakh on the way side in Lolab constituency. MLA Kupwara Bashir Ahmed Dar, MP Rajiya Sabha Fayaz Ahmed Mir and Deputy Commissioner Kupwara besides other dignitaries were present on the occasion.Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister said that present dispensation led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is committed to provide better facilities to the public and several programmes have been launched in this regard for the welfare of public.The Minister sought cooperation from public for sustained peace and tranquility for the prosperity of the State. He said Rural Development Department is working hard to provide succor to the public and various developmental schemes are being implemented in this regard.The Minister directed the concerned executing agencies and officers to speed up the pace of work and complete all the projects in stipulated time so that people are benefitted. He said such projects also provide employment opportunities to the locals.
