Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Shantmanu, today convened a meeting with all Deputy Commissioners of the Valley, who are also District Election Officers, through video conferencing to review the status of Special Summary Revision-2017 of electoral rolls with qualifying dates as January 01, 2017.The DCs briefed the CEO about the preparedness of the Special Summary which will commence from October 31, 2016.On the occasion, Mr. Shantmanu also took stock of construction of godowns for proper storage of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).He stressed the need for facilitating people for their greater participation in the Electoral Rolls process.
